Jade Pusey Letter to the Editor

Hey there. I realized last Mon (7 Feb) night how grateful I was for the community support this past week and over the past two years and decided to write a brief Letter to the Editor ('cause I don't have enough things to keep me busy this week). It never was published in the Tribune but I wanted to send it out since there have been so many people in this community who have helped us so immensely.

"On behalf of my late husband, Jade Pusey, as well as myself and my son, I would like to express gratitude to this community and state for the support they have shown my family over the past two years. Through our two year journey with Jade's cancer, we were shown great support from friends, family members, co-workers/employers and even strangers. The tributes of my husband the past week have been touching. I want to express my thanks to Salt Lake County for their Resolution for Jade last week as well as the State Legislature for their Resolution for him this week. The support shown by law enforcement agencies throughout the state at his funeral last Saturday was extremely emotional and will remain a tender memory. R.L. Stevenson said "The essence of love is kindness." Thank you for your kindness to my family. Please know of our gratitude for your compassion."

Jade and I felt strongly about gratitude and want others to know of our appreciations.
