Hospice

"May you live all the days of your life." - Jonathon Swift

Don't know how to compose this but we'll try.

Basically as I tell it to people, "the wheels are coming off and we're slipping fast." We switched to hospice on Monday and Jade has gone downhill every day. Each day is harder and worse than the previous. His body is showing the telltale signs of shutting down. Jade is to a liquid only diet (sips of water and one popsicle a day) and is starting to having kidney and liver failure. Breathing is slower. Blood pressure has dropped. Trying to manage his pain and keep him comfortable.

"Love is how you stay alive, even after you're gone." - Morrie Schwartz

The best thing you can do to help now is to write or email thoughts, and pray that Jade can go quickly and as painlessly as possible. We are forever grateful for your enduring kindness and strength and service. Please know of our love and gratitude.

With deep sorrow and love.....................Tanya.
