Easter

Whoa. What a whirlwind of a week and what a wknd. Having Jade's two month death anniversay coincide with Garrett's 3rd Birthday and Easter wknd was/is bittersweet to say the least. Just quite emotional missing Jade and having milestones pass in Garrett's life without Jade. (I know Jade's aware of us and our life, but there's still such a sense of loss and void.) I attached a couple pictures of Garrett. We did an Easter pose this year since his birthday happened to fall on the actual holiday.

Tried to focus on Easter and the miracle it is and how without it, there would be no hope. It's hard to believe Jade's only been gone two months. It feels like I've already lived a lifetime without him and have so much to tell him and talk about. Without hope from Christ, I don't know what I'd do.

We're doing ok and hanging in there. Not really good "days" and bad "days" but rather "good, peaceful" moments and "bad, rough" moments. Still a few odds and ends with paperwork needing to be completed. It's been quite stormy and wet here and Garrett, Sadie (the dog) and I are all getting cabin fever to get outside and start spring! We've bought seeds and fertilizer, etc for the garden and just want to be outside playing and doing sidewalk chalk.
