OK Monday

Happy to report to one and all that after the horrors of this wknd, Jade had a much better Monday. He was discharged by 11 am and had already had his consult with the oncologist and had the radioloigst check his line in his chest. The stiches are out of his neck but the ones in his chest/line will remain for another couple days. Jade was able to eat a little better on Monday and was staying hydrated on his own at home. He will stay on the pain meds and Pyridium which protects his bladder. He has a quiet week and he is looking forward to no doctor appts and nothing he has to do. He is wanting to get his hair trimmed way down so maybe that'll be this week. I'm still rooting for the buzz - short to bald look on his head with his beard being trimmed short and close. However, the state of hair is much like the Republic we live in. I can vote but my representative will chose what to do with his own hair. Which is how it should be anyway. We actually got sleep last night as well....always a good thing.

Despite the chaos of life, we have much to be grateful for. Today, [yes tax day - April Fools Day didn't work for us on the calendar nine years ago], is our anniversary. We are at number nine. Very happy to be married and have the life we do. And our taxes are always filed by the end of February so we don't mix up our marriage with the IRS.

Thanks for the emails and the voice mails. Very kind, supportive people around us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Love....Tanya and co.
