Harvesting

Howdy-do everyone. Truly tired tonite so this will be a short one to help in my quest for sleep. Jade went in to be harvested today and it went fairly well. He'll be back at LDS Hospital to do it again tomorrow bright and early. They need a total of 5 "units" (not sure what the exact unit of measurment is) of stem cells and today they were able to havest .9 so we're about 20% there. They are hoping tomorrow's levels will be doubled due to rebounding from the neupogin shots. Jade still gets three a morning before leaving to be harvested. Right now we're guessing he'll need to go Tues and Weds to get enough collected but we're having to play it by ear day to day. The lab calls early evening to tell us what was collected and what the plan is for the next day.

Jade is excited to be at this stage of the process and is ready to get it all going. Next week on Mon he'll have a CT scan, pulmonary function test and echocardiogram and we should be done and ready to go for hospitalization on the 23rd.

The basement was primed this afternoon and it's so great to see it ready to be painted tmrw! Yeah! Does my poor little heart good to see!

That's gonna be it for tonite. Take care and we'll see what tmrw brings. Thanks for everything!

Love..................Tanya and co.
