5.63!

Hey everyone! Good news...........we're there. Today's harvesting totaled 2.75 which is added to yesterdays's 2.88 grand total for a final amount of 5.63!!! Yeah! Jade gets the rest of the week off. Yeah! His stomach was getting sore from three shots every morning so we were going back to his arms earlier today so it'll be great he doesn't have to do them any more! That's really fantastic that Jade is done in three days! They said for sure two days and maybe up to five so three is wonderful!

Now we get to focus on other things (i.e. the basement and other odds and ends) for the next few days. His final round of tests will be on Mon and he goes into the hospital two weeks from today. Yikes. That's hard to believe. Neither one of us are very excited about it but at the same time we know the only way it'll be done is to go through it. So, we'll try to live life up the next two weeks and then go get it.

For those of you animal lovers kind enough to be asking, Sadie is doing great now. No limping and back to her old self. Garrett had a pretty good day too. He was given a balloon at Home Depot and he was inseperable with it for the afternoon and evening. Life is god when you're a fifteen month old boy and have your very own yellow ballon (and your dad gives you a popsicle before bath and bed time.)

Jade and I are feeling pretty lucky to have made it this far. We're optimistic and grateful for all the support. We are hoping to be at the concert on Friday night at Viewmont. Garrett and I will be there for sure and as long as Jade has a good day he'll come with us. It'll be a nice way to wrap up the fund raising. Thanks for everything.
