Pow-wow

Howdy-doody.

It's Tuesday night and we have "preliminary" results from the CT scan. More info will be coming tmrw and Thurs but thought I'd get a quick note off with some initial results. The CT scan showed no shrinkage in the tumors and one getting "slightly" larger. However, there was no new tumors.

So, we're living in limbo land. Our DRs will be pow-wowing tmrw afternoon to look over the finalized CT report and see what to do from here. Not sure if they'll stay with the same chemo, switch to another or open the debate of surgery now vs later. Hopefully they'll send up the smoke signals to us tmrw and let us know what our life will hold next week.

Of course we would have liked a more positive report but there's a lot of things I would have "liked" to be different this year. Hmmmmm. Nothing extremely profound to say tonight. Just trying to manage the rollar coaster or ups and downs here in limbo land today.

The picture is of Jade and Garrett on Father's Day. Thought I'd put them both in hats since Jade has lost his hair. It can be tough trying to kiss with the brims of hats colliding but they made it work.

We'll keep you posted as we get more info this week. Just knew a few of you had called and emailed wondering where things were at today. Thanks for everything! Take care of yourselves and each other.............
