Just a quick note before the predictable chaos happens as it seems to everyday. Jade and I were wondering as some of you have neat experiences fund raising, would you mind writing them down and mailing (USPS or email) them to us? We have heard of some and have even passed some of them along in emails to you guys, but would love to hear them. It's amazing to discover the levels of compassion and kindness that exist in the world. We heard from Jade's friend Blue in Boise who had a neighbor nearby that has a chronic illness, so not many people know her, and her husband recently lost his job, receive a flyer and was so touched she donated $5. As he said, truly the parable of the widow's mite from the Bible. It's incredible for us to hear such experiences.

Jade is doing pretty good. His stamina is nonexistent. He did help his Uncle Dave hang all but one of the doors in the basement and he is definitely paying a price for doing so. He loved being able to "observe" Uncle Dave work (right, I'm going to believe he "observed" only - - and I own the Brooklyn Bridge and will put it in the auction on the 13th.) He was able to take a nap and rest yesterday afternoon. As I've said before, it's hard to cram a life into a week a month.

The weekly fund raising meeting is tonight. Late this afternoon we'll check the Zions account total and the Rotary total and see where we're at. I know there's other money in route from a couple other organizations so it seems there's always more we know of trickling in, which is so exciting.

This morning we're doing an interview with Lee Benson of the Deseret News. He's going to run a story late next week just before the garage sale and boutique here in Riverton, on the 31st, to help give some publicity. Yesterday when we talked he said he had received ten to fifteen phone calls from different individuals encouraging him to do a story on us. He said, "You have no idea how many friends and supporters you have out there." So amazing. [I did tease him and say it sounded that like that was borderline "harassment" from our friends :) ] We do appreciate all the help and support!

Take care and enjoy the Memorial wknd. Thanks again and we'll keep you posted.............

Love..................Tanya and co.
