Long Night Ahead

Hey everybody. Tired and need to sleep but have to send a quick email off.

The afternoon and evening has been a little rocky and I'm afraid the night may be as well. We're really trying to keep Jade out of the hospital like last time we did this "A" round of chemo. His bladder/kidneys are not liking the chemo (same as last time.) We have increased his fluid intake and had some pyridium called in for him to take orally. We'll see in the morning when he goes in for the last day of chemo what if any blood is in his urine. The oncologist said yesterday that he is amazed Jade is able to ever be out of the hospital during his chemo and the week after. He told Jade he couldn't emphasize enough the levels of industrial strength chemo he was being given. While Jade is doing well with some of the negative side effects, it's still rough. Hopefully tomorrow's email will have good news that he's doing better and able to be home for the weekend.

There was a fund raiser at Bountiful Bowl tonight. It was covered by CH 2 locally (CBS) and looked good. Jared was interviewed and quite a few of you made it on camera! Looked good Tanor! And Ken H! Paul got a great sound bite in as well. Thanks for the help. The reporter thought about 2,000 to 3,000 dollars were raised tonight. Speaking of media coverage, Lee Benson's article should run in the DNews tomorrow afternoon. I'll send it with a link in my email tomorrow. The neighborhood here is about to burst waiting for Saturday's events of the boutique/yard sale. The safety fair and car wash will be great as well. Truly amazing.

Thanks for everything. We are especially grateful tonight for the faith and prayers in our behalf. We believe Jade is able to tolerate some of these awful side effects as a result of the faith, prayers, hope, strength, positive energy and encourgement from all of you. Thank you. We'll keep you updated tomorrow with how the night goes. Sleep good..........someone should. Take care.........

Love.................Tanya and co..
