$100K

Hey everybody. We're there. By the end of the day with the deposits I am aware of that will be made today, we're at $100K. Amazing. Truly remarkable. We are just starting into our "busy season" of fund raisers in the next two weeks and we're at $100K already. That's half the money in half the alloted time. We did $100K in May and I have no doubt we'll do $100K in June. Holy cow. It truly boggles my mind to think of what friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, strangers and a countless other army has done to bring in half the money already. Wow. Our first fund raising meeting was on 30 April when we announced we needed help raising the money. That's one month to the day. Can't say enough how grateful we are. It definitely gives us a much needed boost today. Thank you!

Jade is at chemo. So far so good. His oncologist is assessing what to do over the wknd. It was the plan to have fluids (sodium bi-carb) and his mesna on Sat and Sun but with this bladder/kidney stuff flaring up again they are considering uping his fluids. However, he is retaining lots of fluids. From Weds to Thurs he had gained six pounds in water and this morning from Thurs to Fri he had gained an additional seven pounds. That's thirteen in 48 hours. So they're trying to figure out what to do to help flush him out and protect his kidneys/bladder and not have him floating away by Sun night. We'll keep you posted. It seems to change hour by hour around here.

Take care and thanks for the emails, calls, cards and general sense of hope and encouragement.

Love..............Tanya and co.
