CT Scan Info

Hey there. It's Thurs afternoon and we got the results the other day for Jade's CT scan from Mon the 11th.

There was some growth - minimal though. His tumors increased by 3 mm which isn't much but it is growth. We'll consult with our oncologist on Mon and are considering switching to another chemo since this mix of drugs is tough to tolerate. Sometimes it can feel confusing to know which road is the best to choose. I guess that's why your faith and prayers mean so much, to know we can help be guided and try to understand what God wants. So, it's good there's no major growth but not fabulous since there's still growth in spite of the chemo.

Jade has finally started to turn the corner yesterday. He was able to eat and drink and felt relatively ok on Weds which was wonderful. Today has gone pretty well but he's really exhausted after being so sick the past few days and not really eating/drinking much. Hopefully now he'll be able to do some fun things and enjoy a few days of freedom before starting back up again on Mon.

This'll be a quick email since I wanted to get the CT scan results out to you but have a few odds and ends to get done today! Some days it feels overwhelming and all-consuming. I have had a quote (that I believe is my personal motto in life) in my purse and planner for over a decade. On days like today I think of it:

I am only one.
But I am one.
I cannot do everything.
But I can do something.
And what I can do,
With the help of God,
I will do.

Thanks for your help with this on-going battle. We are grateful for your encouragement, hope and kindness. Enjoy the fall season and we'll let you know how next week goes! Take care....

Much love............Tanya and co.
